Jewellery Care & Sizing
Every Soft Claw Studio piece is cast in solid 925 sterling silver and finished by hand in Queensland, Australia. With a little care, your jewellery can be enjoyed for years to come.
Water won't harm your piece, but chlorine, salt water, perfumes and lotions may speed up tarnishing.
Restore its shine with a soft silver polishing cloth.
Store somewhere dry when not being worn.

Your jewellery is made to be worn, but a little care will help keep it looking its best. When you're not wearing it, store your piece somewhere dry and away from other jewellery to help prevent scratches and tarnishing.
Try to put your jewellery on after applying perfumes, lotions and other beauty products, and avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals.

Sterling silver naturally changes over time. Exposure to air, moisture and everyday wear can cause it to develop a darker or more aged appearance, this is called tarnishing.
Some Soft Claw pieces are intentionally patinated to bring out the details in the design. The darker areas are part of the finish and may subtly change with wear, making each piece a little more unique over time.

If your silver starts to lose its shine, gently buff it with a soft silver polishing cloth. A little goes a long way, so there's no need to scrub hard.
Take extra care with pieces that have a darkened or patinated finish, as polishing these areas can gradually remove the patina and change the look of the design.

Finding your size
Finding the right size for your ring is especially important for handmade pieces. For the most accurate fit, I would recommend having your finger measured by a professional jeweller. You can do this by visiting any Jewellers shop near you and its Free!
Otherwise, I have a limited amount of ring sizers for you to purchase.
